Audio2000's 6952UMH UHF 200-Channel Wireless Lavalier & Headset Microphone System - Ideal for Public Speaking, Presentations, Theater Performances, and Broadcasting

I had back-to-back training programs and was shouting myself hoarse. I thought about getting the more expensive Shure brand but it was prohibitively priced specially since I needed two sets. Plus the only models available for Shure were for single receivers (one microphone) so I needed to buy two receivers for the two microphones that I and my co-facilitator would be using.Thus I ordered this set. Although the clips looked a bit plasticky, this had OUTSTANDING SOUND! First time I used it in a hotel, the hotel engineer helped me my assistant in setting up the PA system. Originally head had prepared the hotel's own Shure wireless lapel mics and there was quite a bit of feedback. My assistant then asked him to pull out the Shure and to put this in instead since the Shure had only one lapel and we needed to mics.Without adjusting the sound levels, this one worked even better than the Shure mics! There was no feedback, the sound was crystal clear and though it looked a bit complicated to use because of all the dials and LED displays, it was virtually plug and play. My assistant was impressed and so was the hotel engineer who asked where we got this PA equipment.Today I used it again with my small BOSE speaker and a JBL speaker and to my surprise, there was an included baby plug in the unit that allowed me to plug in the receiver directly to the tiny (but powerful) speakers. I thought I would need a full sized sound system / amplifier to use this but it worked perfectly even with the small speakers. What a great feature!Plus I can use this with batteries and the battery operated portable BOSE and JBL speakers so I can bring this to the break-out room. This is a real lifesaver and I strongly endorse this for all training facilitators and trainers who need to rest their voice. Now I can whisper into the unit and still be clearly heard across the room.This is truly one of the best purchases I have for my craft. And quite a bargain at $ 150.One negative though is that it came in a cardboard box. I thought that this would come in more sturdy case so now I have to look for a more sturdy case as I expect to be using this quite a bit. Well, it's $ 150 so what's another $ 10 to $ 30 to buy a case.
