I picked this up 8 days ago for shooting training videos. I have a Sennheiser 835e that sounds great, but thought a head mounted mic would be more versatile.First off, the Microphone is amazing for the price. I have a deep voice. Deep enough, I can't use Shure products, because they cut off at 50Hz. Lavalier mics are mounted far enough away from my mouth, that I lose some of the base in my voice, a head mounted mic made sense, and in my opinion, it sounds very much like the 835e, but a bit smoother, and the 835e has an almost imperceptible boost to the base. But it's only worth mentioning because this is a review.Second, the headband, sorry, 'neckband'. This thing fits like a well designed glove. I can see how wearing this, your mic will stay in position no matter what. Except...It's too freaking small. Maybe if you're a child or a 5'0' woman, you're set, but that's not me. If I configure the microphone boom according to the instructions, tye mic ends up about 4 inches from my mouth, and about 2 inches from my ear. I've tried alternate configurations, even used Velcro and zip ties, I can get it to the right place (1-2cm from my mouth), but it's very shaky.I have a note into Sennheiser to see if I'm the only one who is having this issue. I'd hate to have to return it... As a side note, if I had to buy a new neckband, it's $129 for this stupid piece of two wired and a couple of plastic clips. Is the mic only worth $100?I'm frustrated. If Sennheiser helps me solve the problem, and if I can change a review, I'll leave my solution here.
