SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ Wireless Gaming Headset with Noise Cancelling Mic - White (Renewed) for PS5, PS4, PC - Perfect for Competitive Gaming & Immersive Play

I have tried many headets including the Playstation Gold and Platinum OEM headsets. The mics were the definate weak spot with Sony as well as being uncomfortable for longer gaming sessions. The SteelSeries mic is the best I've ever tested for clarity and strengh! My gaming freinds are absolutley amazed at the mic quality when I tested it out with them for the first time last night. I had the mic setting at one notch above minimum and its plenty loud and in the mid green for normal conversation...but it has alot more upper range if I need it. Im actually suprised its normal setting is almost at minimum in the PS5 mic control settings. The overall sound quality is good although I'd prefer a higher top end on the volume but I listen to a lot of rock and roll since th 80's so my ears may be partially at fault. It was sufficient at about 60% for most activities so its definatley not a probelm just an opservation. The battery life is said to be 30 houra and it looks like that is going to hold true as I used them for 6 hours and it was still showing green full charge. Light weight and the comfortable. The cushioned ear cups are super soft and comfortable for the whole 6 hours. The mute button on the PS5 remote does mute the mic as well as the button on the headset and I like having both options and wasnt expecting the remote button to work with this non sony brand but it does!. I bought the Amazon renewed version for a savings of about $40 and they are brand new as far as I can tell but just didnt arrive in the retail box. Definate recommend!
