What is the difference between Premium Lite and Premium Plus? Premium Plus - an updated and upgraded design, added comfort and easier to use, and, the FocusLight - a built in indicator that tells you and anyone else around what your headset is doing. (Premium Lite is the previous generation) Why do so many reviews talk about great support? All wireless headsets occasionally require support. For over 25 years, our only focus is to offer the best service and support. We answer 98% of calls within 3 rings and respond to all questions and emails within 2 business hours. Will your headsets work with my phone? The short answer is yes. In the rare occasion they don't, we offer free returns and exchanges. Can I answer calls remotely while away from my phone? Absolutely! With the an electronic hookswitch or Leitner Lifter our wireless headsets offer remote answering for most phones. Visit our "Headset Accessories" page on the Leitner Amazon store to find the right accessory for you. How long does the battery last? 5 to 8 hours. Battery life varies with age, amount of volume on the line when in use, and distance from the base. 8 hours is under ideal conditions, but you may experience less. A charge during lunch time should be enough for most people. Previous page Next page

TLDR Version:I use the LH380 to allow me to stay on Zoom calls (which I do pretty much all day for work), but to be able to walk around the house a little bit more and not sit in a chair for 10+ hours straight. The LH380 has its quirks and a few things I hope will be improved upon in future generations, but I believe it's already the best available headset available for my needs, and it's something I rely on and use many hours every day.In addition, Headsets.com provided me with one of the best customer service experiences I've had in many years, making me feel doubly comfortable when I say that for those in need of the unique features this headset offers, I cannot recommend any product more highly than this one!PART1 - BACKGROUND & PRODUCT REVIEW:I run a small nonprofit organization, and we've all worked from home since prior to the pandemic. However, over the last few years, due to the pandemic we've begun to spend most of our days on Zoom meetings and phone calls. I found myself trapped at the computer and unable to move around, which was having a real impact on me health. So at the end of last year, my company purchased 3 LH380 headsets, and one more LH280 for each of our directors. What we wanted was straightforward: lightweight, comfortable headsets (over the ear style preferred) that could be used all day but would connect to our PCs over Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth, so that we could move around a little more throughout the day. We specifically were looking for ones with strong noise cancelation features and easy on-headset muting and volume controls. The LH380 (and 280) offered all of these features! The LH380 has its quirks, but it truly excels in the areas that were most important to me:* The noise cancellation is exceptional* The sound quality is great, good enough for me to listen to / enjoy music when not on Zoom (I'm used to single-ear listening, so this may not be for everyone, but the quality is good for me)* The controls on the headset are well placed and make sense* And most importantly, the Wi-Fi connection allows me to move around up to around 20 feet away from my PC (the true range is likely further, as my house's construction is really not conducive for the transmission of wireless signals (or to state it more bluntly, my Wi-Fi signal is crap through most of the house LOL)With that said, there are a couple of things that I hope may be updated in a future product design (though in all fairness, at least one or two of these "quirks" may actually just be necessary features resulting from the LH380 actually being a call-centered oriented headset, rather than one for a home office the way I am using it):* The noise cancellation may be too aggressive, as people sometimes comment that my voice sounds different, or I sound a little far away (though they all say they can still hear me well)* When the headset is muted, it beeps every 8 seconds - and you cannot disable this feature. Because it can get annoying, I sometimes mute through Zoom instead, but that makes it awkward to unmute when I've stepped away from the PC)* The battery life is typically about 5-6 hours of constant use for me. Charging is quick and convenient, but if I don't have a break between calls then on a busy day I will usually have it die on me in the afternoon* There isn't really a multi-function button on the headset to do things like pause/play/answer calls. Just the on/off button, volume controls and mute buttonAll in all, most of those "quirks" are minor, and as noted above, I don't think any other product on the market really approaches the LH380 in terms of quality of features that it has. For now, it does all of the important things I need, and I'll happily upgrade to the next generation product whenever that is released!PART 2: CUSTOMER SERVICEThe story of the LH380 is not complete without discussing the customer service. About 8 or 9 months after my initial purchase, one of my LH380's died. I switched to the backup I had and kept putting off calling in for a warranty repair because I expected it to be an "all day affair".And the one day I realized that I only had a few weeks of warranty left, so I "sucked it up" and called in. And to my surprise, I Was speaking with a live person - one who understood me and the technical issues with the headset - within 30 seconds! The story from here is a bit long and diluted with unnecessary details for a product review. So, let's sum it up by saying that a warranty replacement was issued to me the same day, after a really quick and easy experience speaking with tech support. But UPS lost the package. I called back in and spoke with someone new, but the notes in their system were done properly and the process to verify who I was, and that the product had not been delivered was quick. UPS then lost the SECOND warranty replacement that was shipped out as well. Both times were very clearly the fault of UPS (verifiable through UPS's website). But Kamika from headsets.com continued to work with me through the whole process.Ultimately, I did receive the warranty replacement. And although it was delayed due to the UPS issues, the most important thing to me is that my time was not wasted!!!! Each call to headsets.com took less than a few minutes; I was able to speak with someone friendly and knowledgeable, and then continue with my day, while having confidence that they were resolving the situation. This could have been an incredibly frustrating experience – and with many, if not most companies, these days it would have been. But with headsets.com it was actually one of the best customer service experiences I have had in years. I just cannot emphasize enough how incredibly refreshing it was to be able to speak with someone quickly, for that person to be able to communicate well and understand my issues, and for that person to have the authority to address them. So, in the end, a situation that could have taken hours and hours of my time was resolved with a few relatively quick and simple phone calls, all while being handled with extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable representatives.Experiences like that go a long way for me – and I will continue to use the LH series and remain a loyal headset.com customer for the foreseeable future now.
