First off, this headset is just a rebadged and slightly redesigned Seinheiser Office Runner headset. It literally has all of the same options and performs the same, the only difference I can tell is how it looks. If you loved that headset and are just looking for a replacement, this is it. For those that aren't aware, Seinheiser ended their relationship with their partner Demant, and transferred ownership of the headest business to them, which was then launched under the brand EPOS. As such, they continue to manufacturer many of Seinheiser's previous headsets under their brand, but are ultimately the same products. Now onto the review:This thing is a little pricey, but it's still competes well above its punching weight. I find the headset to be incredibly comfortable, and I love the styling. The wireless range is also incredibly impressive, as expected for a good quality DECT headset.I've noticed some reviews complaining of poor sound quality, and I wanted to make a note of something for potential buyers. This headset has 2 operational modes. Narrowband, which provides sound quality which is in line with an old cordless phone. This mode provides extended battery life at the expense of quality, which is still passable and sounds similar to an old cordless hand set people used in the 90s.The 2nd mode is wideband, which to me, sounds crystal clear. This does chew up more battery life, but I usually still get 6-8 hours of talk time, which is plenty for most any meeting / chat sessions. The best part is that if you do happen to start running low, just throw it on the cradle and take a 15 minute break and the battery will regain ~1.5-2 hours of talk time.I also want to point out that this headset is intended for office use and specifically voice communication. Music and other types of audio will not sound great as it is specifically designed to enhance human speech.I also want to address noise cancellation and set expectations. This is a mono headset, noise cancellation for your ears is non existent and it would be silly to even attempt it. However, microphone noise cancellation is actually pretty good and it does a decent job of not picking up my noisy coworkers in the cubicle next to me. It of course has its limits, so I recommend you pair it with a noise suppression software like krisp if you have the means to do so.This is also anecdotal, but I believe the old office runner headsets had somewhat temperamental mute buttons. I can say that I have had no issue with this headset and compared to my office runner the button actually feels more sturdy. Perhaps this is a flaw they fixed when they gave this unit a make over. I can't say for sure, but it is worth mentioning. The cradle also seems to be less fussy that the old model too, which is great. In summary, when used for its intended purpose, this thing is best in class.
