Update to original review:After leaving my original review, their customer service team reached out to assist with my concerns. I can tell you that I have purchased a lot of electronic and other components from a lot of sources, but this level of customer service is something that is very rare to find. I have confidence, while I am disappointed with my initial use, that Yealink will continue to improve upon their product. That alone tells me they are committed and I did make the right decision to purchase this headset. Thanks, Yealink!Original review:I have been using a Poly Savi headset for years, and thought it was time for a new one. A vendor we work with recommended Yealink devices, so I took a look. We are a Microsoft Teams company, so it just made sense to purchase a headset with that capability. Let me tell you know - it is a gimmick. Yes, you can easily control your call and disconnect from meetings by using the touchscreen instead of finding the window on your desktop or laptop, but that is where the support really ends. I bought this thinking I could press a button, type a name and call a person - definitely not the case. You can build your own directory on the device, but you cannot search your Teams directory for a user and call them - you still have to initiate all of that from the Teams app and then you can control the call from the Yealink station.That gripe aside, I will say the call quality is great, maybe better than my Poly Savi headset. The distance from the base station you can walk is really great, but about the same as my Poly Savi. The screen is a nice, albeit limited, addition to the device. I do like that it has speaker capabilities outside of the headset so in those cases you "forget" to charge the headset, you still have an audio path.Overall, great headset, but with limited "integrations" that were a HUGE selling point for me.I love that i can connect my computer, work cell and personal cell all to the same headset. I am also able to listen to my podcasts while working via the speaker on the unit. It’s a big improvement over my plantronics headset.The sound quality and connection work perfectly. I am unhappy that only 2 devices can be connected. The bigger problem i have is: when the 2 devices are connected i can only use 1 of them at a time. Say i am on the headset using 1 of my phones and i get another call and send lift the receiver to answer it, the headset will go on hold automatically when i dont want it to. I actually want both phones to be active simultaneously..Updated 7/27/22Yealink service got in touch with me to go over my issue. I will change the rating to 3 stars do to the fact they took my issue seriously & tried to help me. They have applied my suggestion to their technical team to improve future products.The range is not true that the only dislike.I was amazed that this noise cancelling technology totally masked the bark of my large, loud dog so 5 stars for that. Also works great with MS Teams, has very flexible earpiece options and is easy to use. However giving this only 4 stars as the only way to charge is via the bulky base unit so can’t easily transport between home and office or while traveling.This replaced my 3rd plantronics headset in 6 years. Loved the concept of the teams connection, however, this is apparently a setting that also needs to be enabled on the admin side of Teams - which they will not do just for me lol, so functionality is limitedI live in a cinderblock constructed home and I can go about 75 ft away from the base with headset on (same as plantronics) before I get cut off.I am happy with my purchaseI've been looking around for a solid replacement for my current headset.I'm on calls all day (professional) and this has proved to be reliable.Comments:1) Wish I was able to hot swap the battery, instead of using the speakerphone (just like I was able to do with the Save 740)2) I love the interactive screen. This wasn't available on the Plantronics.Now that we switched to Teams for our external VOIP, this headset provides GREAT functionality and performs well.Solid, well made product, easy setup (truly plug & play), great sound/range. The touch screen seems a bit overkill but , the geek in me loves it.Hallo zusammen wir haben das Headset jetzt ein paar Tage getestet.Vorab:Auf der Seite vom Hersteller haben wir uns mit den Informationen zu diesem Headset echt schwer getan. Dinge wie Bluetooth? oder QD-Stecker oder EHS fehlen!Dieses Headset ist ein UC/Bluetooth Headset somit kann man es perfekt für Softphone, Teams und andere Dienste auf dem PC (PER USB) und Smartphone (PER BLUETOOTH) nutzen.Die Verarbeitung ist für Yealink Verhältnisse besonders gut, dort wahr wohl ein Designer am Werk, macht weiter so.Ich habe zum Vergleich ein Plantronics 540A am häufig am Ohr. Die Reichweite vom Tisch per DECT ist echt sehr gut. Ich kann kaum unterscheide zu Plantronics erkennen. Man macht häufig den Fehler das man mit dem Smartphone spazieren geht, so das der Empfang dann natürlich zur Basis irgendwann abreist.Was ich sehr mag:1) Das Display -> Es ist echt der Hammer!2) Ganzes Design2) Man kann direkt über das Display wählen und zwischen Anrufern wechseln, man muss das Handy nicht aus der Hosentasche ziehen.3) Man hat in der Basis einen USB Hub für 2 weitere USB-Geräte und die sind sogar USB3.0, das gibt es selten meistens verbaut man in dieser Preisklasse USB2.0.4) Sehr viel Zubehör (Bild2), diverse Ohr-Polster für Links und Rechts + Bügel.5) Ein weiteres Highlight ist das die Basis ein Lautsprecher für den PC ist der auch noch sehr gut klingt, inklusive Freisprecheinrichtung.Was ich nicht mag:1) PC Softphone wird nur das eigene von Yealink Unterstützt für die Anwahl über das Display ohne Computer, aus Windows heraus läuft es natürlich. (Ich kann z.B. nicht dem Starface Client eine Anwahl senden.2) Schade das sich Tischtelefone nur über Bluetooth anbinden kann, so fallen viele raus. Hier hat der Hersteller scheinbar den Fokus auf seine eigenen Geräte gelegt, da Sie teilweise Bluetooth integriert haben oder per USB-Stick nachgerüstet werden können.Was ich mir wünsche:Bei dem Nächsten Modell sollte man auch Kabel gebundene Telefone unterstützen.Last but not least:Man sollte die Software Yealink USB Connect installieren, diese installiert innerhalb von 2-3 Minuten eine neue Firmware in das Headset und man kann weitere Einstellungen vornehmen.Nachtrag 30.08.21:Die Kontakte zum aufladen in der Basis sind nicht perfekt, häufig wird das Gerät nicht mehr geladen.Ich habe die Kontakte jetzt noch mal gereinigt und schaue ob es jetzt besser ist.Nachtrag 14.11.2021QI Ladestation ist nicht geeignet für Pixel 6 Pro. Es wird zwar angezeigt das es lädt, es lädt nur den Akku leider leer.
