I have had, and Ben fairly happy with, several small amplifiers over the pet three years. Although this one is a tad bigger, it’s performance is amazing. The others all give feedback if turned up too high and kept near me, whereas this one didn’t feed back at all and in fact, I had to turn it down because it was too loud. A good problem to have. Highly recommendIt works, seems durable. I wouldn't buy it again, if anything happens to this one. I'll probably try my luck with a different one.I bought this as a replacement to one that was wired that I dropped & broke. It seems alot more durable (at the additional expense of double what I paid for the previous one.)CONS: The mic. and speaker have to be charged separately, and charged after about 2 uses (I use it for about 1.5 hour long each time), and only one coord/ plug is provided. Also if you just leave it on, i.e. forget to turn our off, even if you are not using it, the battery drains very quickly. PRO: It has a counter to tell you how charged the battery is. First the speaker part only. The headset charges very quickly.CON: The speaker emits a pretty loud hissing/static noise, but out doesn't seem to affect the video recording of my voice output. I can hear it with my ears, wherever the speaker is located.It has rubber "doors" where you'll find the plug ins and stuff inside, kind of a pain to plug the charger cord into. Also the charger cord can't be more than 9-12" long basically useless, if you want to charge while using, unless you plan on leaving the unit on the floor, and also charging it on the floor.Wireless headphones and microphone stop working suddenly. I have wrote several times to the thirty party and no response [email protected]. When I order they say 1 year guarantee but can't get replay from them.I use this amp for teaching, volume is ok for a 10 mt x 10mt classroom, everything is super cool with this little amp, life saver.Good - I love the sound quality for my classroom. This amplifier is great.Bad - I like to place the amplifier on my desk and walk around the classroom. The mic loses connection when I turn my head.I will be trading the wireless model for a wired model. Also, a wired microphone is required to record your lessons.I received this in the beginning of April and really liked it. The sound quality was good and it was very easy to use. However by the end of June I was having much difficulty turning the unit on. (Faulty on/off switch?). I continued to use it through July but by August it was completely broken. Since the return period was over in May i’m unable to send it back. This was not a cheap unit. I’m very disappointed.UPDATE: Although the time for returning had expired, the seller contacted me within one day of my review and said they were sending me a new device. I received it within a week. I don’t know if it’s going to last longer, I must give the seller five stars for absolutely incredible customer service.UPDATE MY HEADSET WENT OUT AND THEY REPLACED IT FOR FREE. FAST RESPONES AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a 5 watt that did the job. Decided to upgrade to a 18 watt and I'm glad I did. I promote strip clubs in Las Vegas and this amp is awesome. As busy and noisy it is on the strip, I only had volume at about half. Twice as loud as my other one. Also, it has a more clear sound then the 5 watt. You can't go wrong with this amp. And I love that it had a Bluetooth and a power bank so I can charge my phone.UPDATE: After using the amp everyday for month the wire on the head set broke. I contacted the seller directly to buy a new one. They responded in less the 24 hours and within 48 hours they are shipping me a new headset for free. This company is fantastic and they make high quality products.The product itself is excellent. However, the directions of how to use this product are horrible. The print size for the directions were tiny so reading them was a challenge. Plus when you read the directions they do not flow. I read and re-read them frustrated. Then finally found a youtube video which explained how the product worked perfectly.I bought this to use for my food truck because customers get busy chatting and aren't paying attention when their order is up. I love that the amplifier is loud enough to be heard in a crowd with music playing outside the truck. The one thing I don't like is the on/off switch because it is nearly flush mounted, making it difficult to turn on and off if you need to do so a lot. Because I need to turn it off after calling out an order (or not speak to me employees in between orders), I had to find a place to hang the headset while leaving the device on (but out of range) and then move over to the device to call out the next order. So it's lightly inconvenient because of that but otherwise, I love this device. It saves my voice and I don't have to yell out the service window!I teach in a very noisy environment and with having to wear a mask, I was losing my voice and it was very tiring to spend 6 hours a day basically screaming! This is a voice and sanity saver! I love it! I can now speak in a normal voice and be heard very clearly! The battery life has been good for me. The only thing I don't know is if it's durable because I've only had it for a few days.This little speaker has a great amount of amplification and is clear, I chose it because it had the potential to be far more effective for classroom use (my wife is a teacher) than some of the smaller units. Given the need to wear a shield and mask these days, this was the best way to amplify what would otherwise be muffled or less clear. Battery life is very good, and weight is reasonable.I have a Shidu SD M800 Voice Amplifier. Bought it in Jan 2020 (119$CAD). It worked just great. I did not regret the purchase. Now, Nov. 2021, I can't get more than 2 meters (6 feet) from the speaker without having the mic disconnected from the speaker. And yes, both batteries are fully charged, (the mic and the speakers).It's a problem.Now (I have added this part on Jan. 22), two years later, the thing does not work anymore and the mic battery can't be found anywhere. The Shidu contact that came with the package does not work.I love how compact and versatile this microphone is! After I brought mine to school, I had many teachers asking where I got it. And the beauty is, you can take it with you wherever you go; to another school, outside on the yard, or even if you need it at home! I love this product!
