After using the headset (purchased multiple for our business) I would suggest the company rethink the mounting situation, as well as the headset plastic loops. I would also suggest they rework the microphones and headset cushions.-So the mounting station is not intuitive to drop in the headset and walk away, sometimes it takes two hands just to place the headset on it's base.-The headset band is 100% plastic and slides in and out too easily, it also doesn't have the strength to deal with day to day to day to day to day use. Yes the repeat of day to day was intentional. Sorry!A metal slide would have been a much better choice for durability as well as comfort, especially for the price being paid.-The cushions are just garbage, plain old foam cushions really? Why not have memory foam cushions with double coated synthetic outer shells? For moisture and comfort relief.-The microphones are a hit or miss depending on unit. Out of 3 units, 1 has a constant issue of echoes. Not sure why. Reaching customer service is an hour long venture.I hope my feedback helps others make the right decision on these headsets.Bought this in January 2016 and it's great. Never had issues with all day use concerning battery life; but I usually return it to the charger when I have time between calls. You have to adjust the frequency and mike volumes, etc for where you are. When I moved to another office 3 years ago, had to adjust it again - but not since. Just have someone work with you that you can call and play around with the settings under the charger base. The only thing that caused 4 not 5 stars is after 5 years of almost everyday use, the earpiece cushion is eroding. I went direct to Plantronics and they don't offer a replacement. Too bad for that - but otherwise a great product.I work from home dealing with clients over the phone all day, so reliable equipment is mandatory. This headset and the APU-75 adapter cable used to connect to my PC (softphone) is anything but reliable. I had read the reviews of many who had experienced similar problems with this equipment before I made my purchase, and I said, "It won't happen to me." Wrong!Pros:+ The range is great! I can walk all over my modest house and never have an issue.+ The battery life is fantastic! I sometimes work 10 hour days, constantly on the phone, and the battery just keeps going.+ The audio quality (when it is working) is terrific! Clear and crisp.Cons:- Sometimes when I initiate or answer a call, there is a delay as I have to wait for the base to engage with the headset, with an audible "click" as a relay closes, so the beginning of the call is lost. Clients hang up, or the patient ones have to repeat themselves.- Often during a call the client can hear me just fine, but midway through the call my audio drops so low they cannot hear me any more. I am forced to quickly switch over to "speakerphone" using my PC speakers and microphone to finish the call, giving up the normally fabulous Plantronics sound quality just to maintain a connection with the client.- I often hear absolutely nothing when I answer calls. Again, I am forced to quickly switch to using my PC speakers/mic to hear the client, hoping they are still there, and begrudgingly asking them to repeat everything they just said.I have tried this equipment with the same results on two different computers, both well above average in performance and completely up to date regarding software (i.e. Windows 10 Pro, Plantronics Hub, etc.). The usual "fix" for these problems is to disconnect/reconnect the power and adapter cable. Sometimes this works the first time, sometimes it must be done 2-3 times. Sometimes I will have to do this once a day, sometimes 6 or 8 times a day. Plantronics support also had me try disconnecting the battery inside the headset, which will sometimes correct the problem if disconnecting the other cables doesn't.The entire scenario is inconsistent and difficult to pin down from a troubleshooting perspective, and I must give Plantronics support credit for trying. The only solution they have offered is to replace the APU-75 adapter cable which was still under warranty, but they were only guessing that it might correct part of the problem, and doubtful that it would correct all of the problems. Plus, they wanted me to ship my old, potentially defective cable to them, and once it was received they would ship a new cable back to me. Excuse me? Should I just take two weeks (or longer) off of work? And for something that MIGHT fix PART of the problem? They asked if I had another headset I could use while waiting for the new cable. No, I don't. They suggested I buy one. I told them if I buy another headset, it will be a replacement for my Plantronics. And that is what I am doing: looking for a replacement for my Plantronics equipment. It is such a shame, too. The product works so well when it is working!bought this 5/27/2020 as a replacement for my work headset when it died. my company sent me a corded head set and that just doesn't work for me. i have had no issues with this one. i do work at home so noise cancellation isn't a big concern for meI had an issue with this headset but ALLSAVINGS took care of it, service was great and I would buy from them in the future. Unit was clean and well packaged for a used headsetI have used this headset for 4 months now and like it a lot though it's not perfect. The positives - comfortable to wear, good sound quality (no one has ever complained about the quality of my voice over this headset), holds a charge for more than a day so talking for the full day is no problem at all. The negatives are minor but worth mentioning 0- the base unit has a number of settings at the bottom, but the buttons are cheaply made and if o ver-turned beyond the min-max points will break and become useless. Secondly, when I start a call my voice tends to reverberate int the headset - this is never complained about by the other caller and it goes away in about a minute or two, but it is still a feedback that I could do without. Lastly, the connection to the hone is not that intuitive - I have to remove the phone headset from the cradle, then put the headset on, then turn it on, and then make the call, so it's a multi-step process to make a simple phone call (as opposed to putting the headset on and dialing the phone) Still a sold unit.We bought 2 of these for our reception desk in a busy healthcare centre. All 4 of our receptionists disliked the product and refused to wear them. The issues we had were that (1) they created such a loud echo of your own voice that it was difficult to hold a conversation, (2) you could not answer the call on the headset, you still had to pick up the phone reciever and put it down. Once the receiver was picked up, the call went through the headset (3) returning them was a pain. I had to send 3 emails to the seller before getting a response. There was a re-stocking fee on top of having to pay for return shipping. However the items were packaged nicely and looked good, so I'll give them one point for that.J’ai acheté dans le passé ce casque pour ma mère et il fonctionne très bien. Bought these to replace a wired headset from the same manufacturer, sound etc was great on those so thought why not upgrade. For this new upgraded headset the sound was terrible, like listening through a tin can, feedback from those on video calls was it was hard to hear me. Comfort wise they are not bad.I really don't think these are meant for desktops, even though there is an adapter. Maybe these are better as stand alone as a phone headset.Tried a few other products in market for office staff. There was one or other problem. This one with the handset lifter works very well. Receptionist happy, I am happy.doesnt work well with business phone systems... you need to answer it at the phone it is hooked up to... you cannot answer while away from the source phone...
